Lodging

Nashville has the highest average hotel rental rate in the country.

But there is good news for those coming in for the Magnus event:

We are glad to announce that there is a block of rooms available at the Millenium Maxwell House Hotel Nashville. The rate for the nights of August 25 and August 26 is $145/night + applicable taxes. The hotel is located just outside of downtown Nashville within a few minute cab/Uber/Lyft ride or drive into downtown (it is not walking distance to downtown area). The hotel also advertises a shuttle service to/from the airport and into downtown.

Please click here for the details on getting this rate. Note you must belong to the “Enlightened Community for ¬†Nashville 13Magnus Reawakens” Google Plus group. Register here.

The reservation cutoff date is August 7, 2017. If the block is fully reserved early on, the hotel indicated that it would be willing to add rooms at this rate, subject to availability.

If you want to stay closer to downtown, pick anything in the downtown/Gulch area but be prepared to pay serious $$$.

Midtown – the area near Vanderbilt University – is another good option. Plenty to do around there and only about 2 miles from downtown.

For more budget-minded travelers, stay near the airport. It’s an easy 15 minute commute. Many hotels will offer a free shuttle to downtown. Otherwise it’s about a $15 Uber/Lyft/Taxi to downtown.
